How cancellations and refunds are handled on Skin Affairs Luxe

This policy explains when an order may be cancelled, when prepaid amounts may be refunded, and makes clear that after 5 days from delivery there is no return or refund.

Before Dispatch

Cancellation requests are more likely to be accepted

If support receives your request before dispatch or courier handover, cancellation may be operationally possible.

After Dispatch

Cancellation may not always be possible

Once an order is packed, shipped, or handed to a courier, cancellation may be refused or handled only after review.

Refund Mode

Processed to the original payment source where approved

Approved prepaid refunds are generally processed back to the original payment source, subject to payment provider timelines and rules.

1. Customer cancellation requests

  • You may request cancellation by contacting support as early as possible after placing the order.
  • Cancellation is not guaranteed and depends on order stage, payment status, packing status, and courier handover.
  • If the order has already entered dispatch or shipment, we may not be able to stop it.

2. Store-initiated cancellation

  • We may cancel orders because of stock issues, pricing error, failed verification, suspected fraud, duplicate orders, or serviceability problems.
  • If a prepaid order is cancelled by us before fulfilment, an appropriate refund may be initiated.
  • Cash on delivery orders placed with a 30% advance payment may only be eligible for refund of that prepaid portion where cancellation is approved under this policy.

3. When refunds may be considered

  • Prepaid order cancelled successfully before fulfilment or courier handover.
  • Prepaid order cancelled by the store before fulfilment.
  • Approved case where a refund is granted after review of a wrong, defective, undeliverable, or unresolved order issue, provided the request is made within 5 days of delivery.

4. Exchange-first operating model

Skin Affairs Luxe currently presents itself primarily as an exchange-oriented store. Post-delivery concerns may be reviewed first under the Exchange Policy. After 5 days from delivery, no return or refund request will be accepted.

5. Payment provider handling

Approved online-payment refunds are generally processed through Razorpay or the relevant payment network. Refund timing after initiation can vary by bank, card, wallet, or UPI network.

6. Refund timelines and review

  • Once approved and initiated, credit timelines depend on the payment partner and banking channels.
  • We do not guarantee instant credit in every case.
  • If you do not see the amount after a reasonable period, contact support with your order ID and payment details.

7. How to request cancellation or refund review

  • Share your order ID, registered phone number, and reason for cancellation or refund review.
  • If the issue relates to the delivered product, include photos or video and review the exchange policy as well.
